Tornos improves its production equipment for the watchmaking sector

The Tornos Group has developed flexible machines which offer very high machining rates and which integrate several high value-added operations specially designed for the many watchmaking brands which are now developing their production equipment with a view to manufacturing their own movements. A supplier to the watchmaking industry since 1880, the machine manufacturer based in the Bernese Jura is set to present its new products at the Tornos watchmaking open days to be held on 6 to 10 February 2012 in the company's historic buildings. The Chamber of Public Economy of the Bernese Jura will take this opportunity, once again, to join the many stakeholders in the watchmaking industry for this second micro technology working breakfast which will focus its attention on the challenges of verticalisation.
