Tornos Technologies Asia Limited, is a subsidiary of Tornos S.A., which is established since 2008. It serves to market and service Tornos products in the South Asia countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. 

Our office is based in Georgetown, Penang state,  of Peninsular Malaysia, an Island which is often known as ‘’ The Pearl of the Orient ’’ or “ Silicon Valley of the East ’’.
Penang, is a dynamic location for companies in Semiconductors, HDD and ICT, with presence of those renowned MNCs like Intel, Seagate, Fairchild, Osram, Motorola, Flextronics, Jabil and Avago. Some big names in Medical industries like B.Braun, Symmetry Medical, ST.Jude, Accellent are also here. Penang, is the strong base for Semiconductor Machinery, automation and control system, also, a large pool of supporting industries in high-precision machining for metal parts. Penang, is entering into a new era of Aerospace, Solar and Medical Device Manufacturing whereby Tornos has seen a great potential to become part of the solution providers.

Our technical team is well-trained, can work independently with high capability in application know-how and problem-solving skills that definitely can support you on direct and local basis. For countries in which we are not directly present, we supply our solution via our official agents. Technical support is provided by us or by the agents, or both parties.

Our clientele, varies from OEMs to sub-contractors, encompasses the main segments of automotive, watch-making, electronics, micromechanics and medical technology (MedTech) such as medical and dental implants, instruments and tooling. We provide machining solutions for standard and special components in aerospace, solar, oil and gas and other industrial branches as long as they are within our machine’s capability. To date, we have an installation base of 500 - 600 units of single and multi-spindle machines.
