An interesting trick for users of TB-DECO V5 or V6 who wish to use their older 2D simulation with the new TB-DECO 2006 or 2007

1. TB-DECO 2006
Open TB-DECO 2006, if not already done, and also a part program. Or you may create a new one. (NEWPART.part)

TB-DECO

Then generate your part with your mouse or hit F7-key.

generate

If everything is correct, you go on the next step.

2. Sim_Deco V6
Open the TB-DECO V6 simulation.

V6 simulation

Then click on "File Load New Simulation Load New Simulation"

Load New Simulation

Continue on « Search ».

Search

Search the following directories :
My documents
      My parst
            Deco 13 (i.e.)

directories

That is the directory where you have saved your part program before.

Here you may open your part, the __.CPD file (in example: "NEWPART.CPD")

NEWPART.CPD

The last step is to select the program you would like to simulate.

Done

This simulation is now calculated and loaded.
Done !
