1. Presentation of the profession

CFC industrial / building services draftspeople develop and construct in collaboration with other professionals parts and subassemblies for devices, machines or installations, as well as tools and production systems. They deal with missions, specifications or parts of projects. They create documents related to production, assembly and control and elaborate data needed for production. They write instructions and documents on how to use and service the products.

2. Tornos training concept

1st - 2nd year:

A complete basic training in technical draftmanship in the TORNOS technical office in addition to various apprenticeships at TORNOS, as well as with firms of the region in partnership. (Exchanges of apprentice draftspeople). In addition, a basic mechanical training program will be taught with multi-disciplinary mechanics for a minimum period of 3 months. Preparation for intermediate examinations.

3rd - 4th year:

After successfully passing this examination, the apprentice will be integrated in a work group under an engineer's responsibility where he will perfect his training in mechanical construction, elaboration of work drawings, collaboration with the firm's various departments until he obtains his CFC professional certificate as a male or a female building services draftsperson.
