CFC production Mechanic
1. Presentation of the profession
The CFC production mechanics produce parts using different machining processes, assemble attachments or machines. In collaboration with other professionals, they execute mandates or projects, carry out machine commissioning and perform maintenance work.
2. Tornos training concept
1st year :
The basic training is done at the CAAJ in Moutier (www.caaj.ch). It is followed with a complimentary training within the Tornos workshops located in Moutier.
2nd year :
Complimentary training with specialization in the areas of turning, milling and grinding. Introduction to the use of CNC machines.
3rd year :
Autonomous machining of batch of parts on various conventional or CNC production machines.
